MassCAP 2025 CONFERENCE NEWS

The MassCAP Conference is back! This is the first MassCAP Conference since the beginning of COVID. What makes this year’s conference so special is MassCAP is celebrating 50 years as your State Organization. This year’s format is different from our conferences in the past.
The conference will start on Wednesday evening October 15th from 6:00pm-9:00pm offering attendees 3.0 contact hours and time to visit vendor tables.
The “Differentiation in Arts and Crafts” will be provided by Kathleen Carville, BS M.Ed., ADC, CDP, CLM from 6:00pm-7:00pm. It will be an educational session that will discuss the differences in arts and crafts, how to provide a failure free program and offer attendees many useful tips.
From 7:00pm-9:00pm “Crafts for Every Season” will be provided by Laura Friis, BS, ADC, CDP, MassCAP Treasurer & Kathleen Carville, BS M.Ed., ADC, CDP, CLM & MassCAP Satellite Chair. This will be an interactive session offering attendees many ideas to bring back to your facilities.
On Thursday October 16th our opening speaker Dr. Randi Lebar will be presenting “Music in Dementia-Finding the Piano”. She will present an inspirational talk about the wild ride she has taken with her 92-year-old mother who went viral on Tik Tok in 2020.
Thursday will be a full day of different sessions, including the “Vendor spotlight” and offering attendees 8.0 contact hours
